my guess is that out of all the people who will accept our friend request, about fifty percent of them will actually listen to the music (the other half will, assuredly, bask in the awe-inspiring glow of a now even larger number of palsies--ultimately doing wonders for their self-esteem and identity) and out of that fifty percent, maybe forty percent or so will actually listen to the tunes more than that one initial play after visiting the page--not that we hold anyone responsible for myspace apathy, after all...we are just another band, and we enjoy the friend count too :-)
however, being in that top forty percent (since i suppose you, the reader, would be for taking the time to glance through this nonsense) we would like you to disregard any cynical impression this paragraph may have instilled and join us in a hearty chuckle at life's little absurdities.

It's my first night back on the horse in over 2 years, and they need to see me bring in a good amount of people to decide if they're going to keep me. And I REALLY need this! The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. Next Wednesday, May 7 at 7pm, I will be featured as a runway model for Ed Hardy at Club W. All of the Ed Hardy reps from LA will be coming out. Tickets are $50 but go to benefit Ryan Miller's Steadfast Foundation Charity.
The following day, Thursday May 8 is my 23rd birthday, which means I'm going to start the celebrating early on the night of the fashion show, so all the more reason to come out and show your love and support for me and Ed Hardy!!!!
