I grew up closely nurtured by music in all of its glorious forms. It's been a release, a platform, and a healer for longer then any of us have been alive! So, for me music is the influence, it creates itself.
Hi Everyone! Names Tyler, (tips hat) I believe I was put on this earth to do one thing and one thing only...play music! Since I can first remember, I've been closely surrounded by music of all forms, in all of its splendiferous shapes and sizes - and since those same early memories, it's all that I have aspired to do. Music has and always will remain the one thing that brings me fulfillment and purpose. I'm 17, living on the East Coast (wishing it was the West Coast) and loving every minute of the life that I'm leading. I'm studying to get into Berklee College of Music in Boston to further my skills, and then, go on to the unstoppable force that is "The Shades" and it will commence its wrath on the world...too much? I'm an endorser of all Genre's, coming with the understanding that there is realllly good music, and realllly shit music in all of them. I've been playing gee-tar for about 10 years and piano for 3, and you'll be lucky catch me Not singing a tune. Because of my real love for all types of music - I've found it hard to put genre to, or sub-categorize my own songs. They too - spanning many facets of the music world; Prog Rock, Alternative, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Pop, Funk, Blues, ETC!) However, only recently have I come to the conclusion that finally we live in a time and age whereby I won't have to do that. The plan is to have The Shades as an entity, where by I write and record ALL of my original music and put it on the soon to come website. Free downloads for everyone for the time being as I would love as many people to know about my music as possible =] Creating awareness as a credible multi instumentalist, engineer, producer, song writer, singer, and avid music lover is the ultimate aim and anybody out there who is willing to help, please add or contact me. :)
