Shit happens, it continues to happen, and I start from scratch. I'm looking for musicians. Hit me up if you know any! And I still apologize for the bad recording but Deadaghram Records doesn't have good recording equipment. It is, however, cheap (like, free) and easy.
Her was recorded about a year ago though a built-in computer mic. The drums were recorded a year after the guitar/bass/vocals were using Hammerhead drum station (link in the members section) though an RCA recorder from the speakers. I combined the the tracks using Audacity and I after some trial and error lining the tracks up...I feel it came out perfect. I had to change the tempo of the drums but...all in all, great song. The recording quality still sucks but I did as much as I could to make it better.
Mundus Vult Decipi means "The people want to be deceived". I'm not liking the title as much as I once was but I'm still sticking with it. I only have half of the song up because the middle parts I want to have drums, bass, and guitar. The only problem is I don't have a guitarist or drum beats written for it. But besides that, straight forward song. Listen to it...hurt your enemies with it...etc. It's another TSM goodin'!
Dead Girl is a song I'm a little iffy about uploading. I don't know why but it just feels odd. I like how it came out but it's not really something I'd do. Either way, it's just a song I recorded because I could do it one-man style and it's not gonna make 'The Shadow Machine' record (it's a solo acoustic project lol). Let me know how you feel about it (you won't but I figure ask anyway).
Hangman is...a song. It's like all my other songs in several ways. Sure it was a complicated plot and a ABCB rhyme scale but...yeah. The re-recording turned out a lot better than the first. I wish I would have played around with the opening more but oh well, your not listening to it anyway.
And yes, I DO realize that all my vocals sound the same for ALL of the songs. I'll try to remedy that soon.
