A new live soundtrack to F.W.Murnau's classic expressionist horror "Nosferatu", written by Matt Eaton (Pram, Micronormous) and Grandmaster Gareth (Misty's Big Adventure) and performed by these with members of Misty's. Nosferatu was released in 1922 and remains one of the most chilling interpretations of Bram Stoker's "Dracula", due in part to Max Schreck's depiction of "Count Orlock" as a skeletal, rodent faced and plague ridden vampire, as well as Murnau's experimental techniques with film and lighting.
Stoker's widow later ordered all copies of the film destroyed for copyright infringement;
we are fortunate enough to be playing to a surviving 35mm print.
