THE SHADOWS was written, shot, and cut in the span of 1 year. From conception to completion it could be one of the fastest, cheapest movies ever made. Yet it's full of rich, lush color, and of course, deep dark shadows. One of the first features shot on the brand new Canon XLH1, cinematographer Gavin Kelly fashioned a beautiful anamorphic movie on HD for less than the TV you're watching it on. Wiith a passionate score by Patrick Kirst and songs by Velvet Chain and Lily Cushman, THE SHADOWS is a beautiful, visceral experience.
Having been completed at such speed, THE SHADOWS comes at you straight from the brain of director, Guillermo Rodriguez. A subjective look at the horror of identity, this movie is deeply personal and moving. But it's written to entertain, and being cut at the speed of light, this fast-paced thriller will have you dying to know what happens next.
Horror novelist Stephen Grimes spends his days coming up with new ways to kill people, until he accidentally runs over a street kid, falls in love and learns that life is an emotional thriller that ends with a painful twist.

I love this spooky movie! It was the best film I have seen all year, and I'm not just saying that because I'm in it! All hail Guillermo! This deserves a film festival all on its own, I will be your PR Queen!:)
