We formed in 05 since then we've play over 115 gigs including 3 UK tours.
We've been play on BBC Radio 1, BBC Essex, recorded a live session for New York radio station Breakthruradio, played Offset Festival, played Club Artrocker and Club NME nights.
This year we completely changed our sound and look. We now wear a uniform on stage, Red, Blue and Green shirts with black ties, black trousers and black shoes. Our music is much listenable from our pervious music.
We are about to record a new demo with 'Mike Spink' (Kaiser Cheifs, Dead 60s)
NME - Cutting screamo punk rock
THE FLY - Music that wants to make your ears bleed
BBC RADIO 1 - A excellent new young band
PLANET BEET RADIO - Jerky, quirky, yelpy, post-grunge punk. Every song is a potential single.
ARTROCKER - Quick-fire tempo changes and flat-out distortion fuelled rock-out disguise the fact The Shame actually deliver hooks and choruses.
LOSINGTODAY - more of that frantic and jerky earlobe spanking zig zagging energetic shouty angular pop that we here love so much.
BARHOUSE RECORDS - Definitely a band to keep an eye out for in 2010

The Shame were setting up I remember thinking I in for somethin strange
and not knowing why. I'd never heard of them and onstage they looked menacingly and excitingly different. They just have a air about them. Lets just say when they play they split the pub. I damn near shit myself. They sounded like Alvin, Simon and Theodore on relentless and speed, with generators up their asses. Absolutely bonkers in the best possible way. To me they sound like what would happened if The Blood Brothers had grown up in Essex listening to Dillinger Four and fighting wild animals for their dinner. Desperate, vital and weird, they thrashed, stamped and swated through their set with explosions of mad keybroad noise and occasional chants of completely mental lyrics, literally without mercy. They just didn't care if you thought they sounded a bit strange because they fucking owned your soul. The Hardcore guys stared in disbelief, the old men wept into their ale and wierdo's cheered and sang and dibbled. At last, a local(ish) band with the madness of old Screwy Magoo, the looks of a police lineup in a circus and the defining sound of apocalyptic bizzarro punks new wave revolution. I had to sit down after that one. They also gave out free CD's. Bonkers

The Shame are up next and come battering straight in with their crazy, manic sound. Drums are everywhere and anywhere - the vocal screeches out and guitar and bass drive away incessantly. Some songs do have catchy moments, jumping out of the crazy cacophony and giving the listener something to get a handle on. Mostly this is fast paced, bordering on break neck speed, stuff. Some songs stop and start angrily. This is clever, tight and well rehearsed stuff that may annoy some but others will love it.

Trashy, punky, but somehow not quite either. The excellent The Shame bring to mind, The Blood Brothers and Melt Banana in the fore but have a heap of other influences thrown into the mix for good measure

I know what you mean. You always progress yourself in time. And if anything doesn't feel right for you anymore you have to let it go.
There are alot nice places near where I live you could play. For example the "Substage" or "Die Stadtmitte" in Karlsruhe. And if you still play smaller events there is a festival here every year called Polterplatz Open Air , there's also a website, polterplatz.de. And a bigger one is called "Mini-Rock-Festival", you could find it via Google.
