  • Bio

Having relocated to London, UK, Julia Muth, weirdo-guitar champion of Toronto’s secret rock scene (no REALLY, they don’t want ANYONE to know), has shamelessly spent the past two years winding herself in a cozy cocoon of tea and biscuits to keep out that cruel British drizzle. But with the promise of a real summer on the horizon and a nagging rock-hungry rumbling deep in her tummy, she has emerged from her slumber, shiny, new and ready. Backed by totally tidy twins, Stewart and Paul Summers (Duvals, Ten Benson etc), The Sharp Tongues have been miraculously resurrected. Filling the shoes of amazing one-man-back-up-band Marcus Quin was a tall order, but the twins are more than up to the task. The new Sharp Tongues have honed their sound (harder, sharper, but still ragged in the right places) and are ready to get fully in amongst it. If you can’t catch them at British Sea Power’s Tan Hill Festival (April 30-May 1), stay tuned, there are plenty more shows to be announced very soon... .... ................ ....
