thanks! to hear stuff this good i used to have to listen to wsof for hours, straining to decipher the beauty between the bursts of static and five minute interruptions from a portion of a sermon with no beginning or end...
so i told you i'd give it a listen, and i did. it was just fine. tell you what: i'll put it on the soundtrack for my movie that i'm writing. "i'll fly away" will give me bad dreams tonight.
Chick-fil-a offers free food in exchange for church bulletins on Wednesdays- Got any extras lyin' around? Or would you disapprove of me taking them without attending service? I'm hungry.
And for a moment as i listened to I'll Fly Away, I flew away to that little chapel outside of of Calico Rock, Arkansas, where Brother Bradley led us in a rendition of the song that was almost as mournful as your own.
Greetings. I agree with Chris in that your version of "I'll fly away" is probably the creepiest. I like the minor notes that are thrown in there. Very nice.
I have a song that would be perfect for y'all, "Turn 'Round Brother." It's an inspiring gospel tune about giving your life to Christ and joinin that heavenly band. Bonnie might remember it for the line about Jesus "went out walkin' with the devil in the wood. "
