Save Me...I'm A Fool For Distraction
I grew up in a small town (3,000 people) in the central valley of California and got out of there as soon as I could. Went to college at Fresno State - partied hard and got a degree in Mass Communication & Journalism. As soon as I graduated I was out of there too - from August 1995-August 2005 I lived and worked in San Francisco, but moved back closer to where I grew up to be near family and enjoy everyday things like owning a car and having a washer & dryer which I went without for 10 years! :)
NEWS! I become an aunt for the first time on December 21, 2007 to my niece Sofia and I couldn't be more excited to have her in my life!
For what I used to call my "real" job, I have worked as a Planning Analyst, Project Manager and Marketing Manager for the past 12+ years, in addition to my involvement in the music world. I'm now taking a break from all of that and am going to pursue the music thing as my "real job" full-time in 2008. And, by the music thing, I mean all of the marketing, promotions, fan interaction and general operations management I do for musicians and bands. And, of course, continue to travel anywhere that I can, any time that I can, mostly to see live music and visit friends. I'm always in search of my next "fix" to feed my music addiction.
To sum myself up in a very random way, I've provided a list above in my blog containing "100 Things About Me" that might help you get to know me a little better. I love life a little bit more with each year and can't wait to see what the future holds. I don't wait for things to happen, I make them happen. I'm a no-nonsense, no-time-for-drama kind of girl. If you bring that into my life, I will shut you out. What you see is what you get with me and I respect that in other people. I am so taken aback and thankful for all of the love and support I receive from the amazing people in my life - it rocks my world.

Southern Louisiana is near and dear to my heart - please do whatever you can to help them get back on their feet in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina - it's going to take help for a long time, we can't forget about them!

he's actually a silver lab! they're basically super super light shades of chocolate labs, but with blue eyes. i want one for myself, but i'll be happy being a godmother instead. ;)
Just stopping by to let you know Marc was GREAT at North Sea Jazz last night! He really enjoyed himself (as did the band ;-)) and the audience was having a really good time too! Have some nice pics and clips..will upload pics tonight and clips a.s.a.p. (YouTube) Maybe you can use them for the website?
The Sheriff added 3 new photos to the My Niece Sofia album...are among my most favorite things to read on myspace when perhaps I could otherwise be working on any given Wednesday afternoon! :)
