Save Me...I'm A Fool For Distraction
I grew up in a small town (3,000 people) in the central valley of California and got out of there as soon as I could. Went to college at Fresno State - partied hard and got a degree in Mass Communication & Journalism. As soon as I graduated I was out of there too - from August 1995-August 2005 I lived and worked in San Francisco, but moved back closer to where I grew up to be near family and enjoy everyday things like owning a car and having a washer & dryer which I went without for 10 years! :)
NEWS! I become an aunt for the first time on December 21, 2007 to my niece Sofia and I couldn't be more excited to have her in my life! My sister-in-law is currently pregnant with baby #2 due at the end of March 2010.
For what I used to call my "real" job, I worked as a Planning Analyst, Project Manager and Marketing Manager for the first 12 years of my career, in addition to my involvement in the music world. I took a break from the corporate world and decided to pursue the music thing as my "real job" full-time beginning in 2008. And, by the music thing, I mean all of the marketing, promotions, fan interaction and general operations management I do for musicians and bands. I launched my SHERIFF Music Management business at the beginning of 2008 and have continued to add clients ever since. In addition, I continue to travel anywhere that I can, any time that I can, mostly to see live music and visit friends. I'm always in search of my next "fix" to feed my music addiction.
I also took my love of photography and turned it into a business in 2009 - Lust for Life Photography. I am currently accepting bookings for any of your photographic needs - concerts, events, parties, birthdays, wedding receptions, weddings showers, baby announcements, baby showers, pregnancies, baby/children portraits, family portraits, family reunions, senior portraits, special requests, artwork and other. www.lustforlifephoto.com
I love life a little bit more with each year and can't wait to see what the future holds. I don't wait for things to happen, I make them happen. I'm a no-nonsense, no-time-for-drama kind of girl. If you bring that into my life, I will shut you out. What you see is what you get with me and I respect that in other people. I am so taken aback and thankful for all of the love and support I receive from the amazing people in my life - it rocks my world.

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner but my computer took a shit and I haven't logged on in about a month. But guess what? I quit MVE and I now work for Turlock PD...woohoo! Never been happier! But about Marc...I think I seen him on FX (which I thought was kind of odd) and I want to say I saw him on VH1 but I could be totally wrong on that one. So how are things going? Is your neice getting super big now? Well, I hope all is well and tell Max and Ash I said hi. Take Care!

Morning Rachel! It was good to see you the other night at Marc's show. Were you at DMB last night in Berkley??? I kept lookin for you but didn't see you. It was an amazing show.. I think hands down the best Dave show I've ever been to (beside the guy walking up and down the aisles tripping on some sort of substance). Anyway hope all is well and I will talk to you soon :-)
Will I see you October 9th @ the Marc B & Sara B show? I have NOT been to the Venue they're performing at but I'm sure it will be great. Raining Jane (who I discovered @ the last Sara show I went to) will be there also. It sounds like fun, fun, fun!
