University of Life - 2001 to 2004
Any traces of character were crushed and homogenised upon entry to university 2001. Embarked on voyage of self-undiscovery in a false celebration of life - misogyny, binge-drinking and sloth.
Compositions on eponymous debut 'release' were largely instrumental and generally conceived, written and recorded in less than 15 minutes. Subsequent EP - "Sorrowsex" - contained several songs in addition to the instrumental formula from the album.
New material for the forthcoming "Shermania" album, itself a paean to the uniform beliefs and conduct of the Northern Irish Ben Sherman wearer (or "Sherman") is glossier, with tracks taking up to two hours to write and record. Nonetheless, we hope that the spontaneity of the early work shines through.
