The Shit that fuckin Irks Me!'s Comedian Bio
|
| Bio | The Shit That Irks Me, was born in 1996 when Maxwell Silverhammer got the idea to grab his trusty Radioshack taperecorder and rant and act out situations that pissed him off. He did this for years simply as a stress releiver. A few select friends of his heard these recordings and made coments like, "Dude you should go into radio," or "you should do some stand up comedy." About this time Silverhammer had begun to take the stage and do some stand up comedy as well as releasing several rap cds under the monicor B-Sick. Later disenchanted with the business and feeling that radio was too competitive he gave it up for a short while. In 2004 Maxwell met Miracle Moore who had quite an extensive background in theatre and music. Miracle Moore had performed in highschool theatre and choir as a teenager. She was later lead singer for a local band called pink HEADband that played nightclub gigs. Soon she too caught the stand-up bug using her material as a source of stress release in dealing with her now-ex-husband. Maxwell played his recordings for Moore and she immediately embraced them. Maxwell Silverhammer and Miracle Moore have performed with a local improvisational comedy troupe for several years, but still needed that adequate outlet to do what they did best. In 2006 Silverhammer got just that opportunity. While doing an internship at local AM. radio station 1230 KLAV under an awesome mentor named Patrice Donley. He was asked to come up with an idea for an internet radio show. Donley promised him that if he could do this she would let the duo have a show on their new internet station once it was up and running. However, there was one small catch. They were told to keep the show FCC compliant. Hence: the name change to The Crap That Irks Me. The show was on for a while and had gotten a lot of positive feedback from listeners all over the country. In late December 2007, the crew grew! We added Crews Control, a longtime friend and fellow improver to the show. Then in Sept. of 2009 the crew grew again! Fezo Da Joneser was now added to the line up! Fezo is a disabled advocate as well as a hip-hop artist who also ran for state senate in MA. in 2008. With the same "don’t give a fuck," attatude we knew this was a necessary evil.
