Shivery is an Alternative Rock band that deliver good old classic rock with a twist that’s very reminiscent of today.
In 2004, Song writer and singer/guitar player Paul Obertelli saw his old band Flight 16 come to an end. They had released a Record on Sony while touring the USA and Europe putting out many memorable performances supporting Jerry Cantrel, Cold, Finger Eleven, Days of the New, Incubus & The Goo Goo Dolls.
After the band came to an end then came the grief of having to get out of a bogus management contract which was quite poo.. When the rains where finally cut Paul having slowly built up his own studio set up began laying down a pile of songs, some of which he performed with around London venues with his old drummer and bass player calling the project “The Super Dead” they managed to get XFM air time and had an EP out which made it to number 3 in the Fopp EP charts for several months.
In 2007 Paul parted from “The Super Dead” and teamed up with Bass player Matt Miles who after touring Europe with various bands and then promoting music venues, joined Paul and began recording and performing some acoustic gigs together… (As well as going out and getting really pissed and talking crap of course). The line up was completed in mid 2008 when Drummer Nenad Kostadinovski and Guitarist Chris Palmer joined the fold, the new force had been created!.
“Shivery” are now busy at work and coming up with new ideas freshly served from recent inspirations that are sparked by old and new rock n roll influences and modern awakenings, The music digs deep, but keeps the message simple and clear, enjoying a smile and a cry all in time to a massive beat. Hope you enjoy!
Hi Guys, its a shame you weren't available to play the Grove, it was Groovy. Turned out to be a killer night, no worries though next time. Hope you do make it on the 15th of April, It'd be wicked to see ya. Get there early as we are on first. Laters P.S.

I couldn't agree more dude, it's a shame that the shits in croydon get all the press though. I mean there's never anything good to say about Croydon in the media even though it's only a minority that fuck it all up for the rest of us.
I can't wait to hear the new stuff. Let me know when you've got the songs up.
Hiya. Yeah Dan and I are doing alright. The other guy came off a hell of a lot worse apparently so we're holding on in there. Oh a lighter note, your fet on Friday was killer! :) Hope you're doing alright? xxxxxxxxxxxx
