The Shoestring Collective's Blurbs |
About me:
Check out the great line-up of for this months show on Sat., May 17th.
EMILIE CONWAY: Talented Jazz vocalist covers Billie Holiday and other greats with Michael Behan (guitar) and Claus Kaarsgaard (Double bass).
MEL and MEL return this month, like a nasty rash, with more dubious observations from their beautifying alter egos Rianna and Brianna
DERMOT BURKE (fiddle) SEAN O BROIN (flute) and PADDY McEVOY (Guitar) play us North Connaught trad with true Dublin pride and fervour
THE ICICLETHIEVES resurface this month for some low key songs with special guest SEAN KILBRIDE on trumpet and God knows what else.
Plus poetry/prose readings from BRIAN KIRK and BRIAN CONAGHAN.
FRANCESCA FLORIS' photography will also grace the venue's walls.
TICKETS (10 Euro) available from the Central Ticket Bureau (www.ctb.ie), Liberty Hall, Eden Quay, Dublin 1. Tel. (01) 8721122.
Doors open at 7.50pm. Strictly no admission after 8.25pm. Show ends 11pm. There will be a limited bar, and limited tickets on the door.
