Sounds Like
Part throw-back to the '80's Minneapolis rock scene (Husker Du, The Replacements, Soul Asylum), part alt-whatever (Uncle Tupolo, Golden Smog, The Pixies). Throw in some Petty, Bowie and a dash of "hipster". Now add a theremin, a turtle and a yard gnome.

Someone posted this on youtube. It’s not the greatest quality in terms of recording or performance, but it’ll give ya an idea of what we do. This was the first ever performance of this song. The date was March 1st, 2008. The song is called "The Water Song".
This is a video of Mat’s other band. He is a little more animated with this group, but still a rock solid drummer.
