"Seen you guys both Friday and Saturday night. Had to see Saturday's by myself but well worth it. I think you guys are by far my favorite band and coming from me means a lot because I HATE ALL BANDS... well all except yours. Not just saying that either ask any of my friends and they will tell you bands are not my thing well until I heard you at Kyna's a few months back then I added you on here and found you were coming back to play in NY and semi-close to Malone hell yeah I was going to be there. You are not of anything I have normally heard. The bands I hear are usually playing hard rock. When I was at Kyna's the weekend I saw you I was like great another band and when you sang Breakfast at Tiffany's it floored me. I could not believe my ears. Then it continued, Jack and Diane and Beat it. I was like what, this is awesome. I actually knew the music being sang and I NEVER KNOW what people are trying to sing. You blend very well together and I can not wait til you are back at Kyna's on the 21st and 22nd. I will be there with or without my friends. Can't miss a song and I will try and show up early because I know how well you bring in the crowd. I liked it at the Casino because it was more intimate and not crowded at all. Too many people and it is hard to have fun but expected at your shows so with the amount of people at least you know how good you are. Friday night I was sitting with the girl that wants to get you on Ellen and hell yeah I hope she does. That would be so amazing and you are well worth being Nationally heard. Ok so now that I have praised you over and over I want to say thank you for being awesome :)
All my best and can't wait til Kyna's
A forever fan, Charina "++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Shawn Bon Jovi: "I still remember walking into Charlies one night, and hearing what would be one of my favorite acoustic bands ever. It was almost closing time, and you guys were just finishing up. I didnt ever know the name of the band until the following week. As soon as I heard you were playing Open Net, I was there, and usually never missed a show. I miss our regular friday nights in Massena, and after hours at Travis's. Needless to say, I cant wait for the revival tour of Shotgun Wedding! This is the real deal. A three piece acoustic rock band (guitar, bass and djembe) with abundant harmony, performing original and cover material with their own twist - check them out! Shotgun Wedding came to be in March 2005, when brothers-in-law Cory and Denis were horsing around with a couple of acoustic guitars at Cory's home. They both looked at one another and knew they had the start of something special. They had previously worked together in other groups over the past eight years. They both felt that a third member was needed and a call was placed to their first choice, Ed. Although Ed was already committed to a full-time group, he agreed to the project at a part-time level. Cory also had his own project with a band called SamHill. Both Ed and Cory were in bands that were in great demand in their regions, however Cory and Ed could not deny the musical chemistry when they played together. The three members began full-time rehearsals and they were soon booked at a club in Cornwall, Ontario. At that point they realized they had a band but didn't even have a name. As promotional posters were being designed for their first performance, Ed called Cory at home and some band names were considered. Ed was looking for a photo of Cory for the poster and asked Cory even for a wedding photo and was told that he had a Shotgun Wedding and had no wedding pictures. The name "Shotgun Wedding" was born! Anyway, if you know us at all, we can sound pretty damn cool. It didn't take long for us to be highly coveted on both sides of the border, and Ed & Cory both realized that Shotgun Wedding was just too promising to be their side projects. They both made commitments to make Shotgun full-time and dissolved their relationships with their former bands. They decided to take the show south of the border and it honestly caught on beyond their expectations. Shotgun's show very quickly became wildfire. It didn't take long to build a loyal following and friendships which reach far beyond the music with too many people to single out (you know who you are)! Now, two and a half years later, they can all honestly say they have many years of silly antics left in them. If you haven't had the opportunity to see Shotgun Wedding Live, the invitation is extended! You never know what will happen on a Shotgun night, which is one major appeal. In fact, that is theirr appeal. That and they are all really sexy!!
