• The Showgrounds at Sam Houston Race Park is Houston’s newest outdoor entertainment destination featuring performances from national recording artists across all genres of music beginning in May 2008;

• The Showgrounds will be home to a variety of high-profile festivals and special events throughout the year including Cinco de Mayo, Vans Warped Tour, Tony Hawk’s Boom Boom Huck Jam, XO Concierto, Fiestas Patrias, Mayhem Tour and the July 4th Extravaganza;

• Live Nation serves as the exclusive booking and marketing agent for The Showgrounds;

• Concerts will take place in the infield of the race track after live racing events as well on non-racing nights;

• The all-ages venue features reserved seating and general admission for 9,000 patrons;
