The Shown was formed as Uncalledfor in July of 2005 by drummer William George and guitarist Max Manning. The two released a seven-song self-titled EP, comprised mostly of White Stripes covers, in August of that same year. By the end of 2005, Clinton Mullins and Amelia Whitfill joined the band on lead vocals/guitar/piano and bass, respectively. In March of 2006, Uncalledfor recorded their popular single, "Without You." The band's name was changed to The Shown in May, and Identity Theft - EP was released on September 21st. The Shown, now composed of only George, Manning, and Mullins, returned to the studio in June 2007 to work on their latest album.

"foreverly" is pretty good, i like the piano parts. and the changed up version of "where are you now?" is gonna take me a while to get used to, but i think i'll warm up to it.
