Evan Hillhouse and the Shrines are an L.A.-based band utilizing the styles of Jellyfish, the Beatles, and Radiohead. Evan's self-titled debut album has been met with rave reviews, especially in the power-pop community. The album- started simply as a high school senior project- turned into a year-long artistic project and resume for future oppurtunities.
Evan is also a studio musician and performer, playing live or recording for groups and artists including Del Mar, Larry Bagby, Jessica Calahan, The Relationship, Brian Bell, Candyman 187, Dustin Bagby, Cousin Kate, Michelle Mangione, Lynne Earls, Paul Nagi, Cronin Tierney, Trevor Lukather, Gina Loring, Deena Kamm, Amy Indrizzo, Joshua Path, Nadine Zahr, Robert King, Cary Judd, and more.
These bands will be playing shows around Hollywood, Ventura, and places in between. Announcements will always be provided to Friends before a show, but you should check this site regularly for updated information.
