Nearly 5 years after their self-titled debut, THE SILK DEMISE new album, Midnight Eyes, is finally available. The album includes 14 tracks with vocals by Edie Marshall. Visit the website for the latest updates.

...Hailing from Toronto, Canda [the] silk.demise offer up sensual, stripped-down trip-hop on their self-titled debut. Combining the talents of songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/producer Bill Litshauer and lyricist/vocalist Olivia Zielinski, the band's sound falls somewhere between…say…Massive Attack and the moody trip-hop found on Akira Yamaoka's soundtracks to the later Silent Hill games.

Blending sultry female vocals, occasional half-whispered male vocals a la Tricky, and music that emphasizes atmospheric sound with sometimes sparser melodic work, the work is a blend of dark, electronic-yet-organic trip-hop with a slightly experimental slant...

Hey guys. Great to hear that "Midnight Eyes" is ready for release.

Any plans to tour in Glasgow or Edinburgh? Considering the love the Scots crowds have given iamx, Massive attack + Portishead the last couple of years, I'm sure you'd be more than welcome here. Amazing choons. One love !

Hecklers and supporters of The Scene unite!

In case you feel like a night out for malty beverages and/or fruity umbrella drinks (to each their own)... and of course some Rock and Roll, we're playing the Mod Club on Saturday the 20th (Depending if you're in the GTA that night or not)
