You.
The Silver Medal is a project that has been over a year in the making. After the break up of Bronx pop-punk ensemble, The Best Intentions, Stephen and Anthony decided to look forward. Everyone’s life was changing; with new wisdom of their strengths, weaknesses and overall abilities, they decided to start writing new material to reflect their new introspective knowledge. After months of writing when they could, Bryan was asked to join the band. With him on board, new experiences and views were added to the mix. All that was left to find was a bassist. Many were tried; one made the cut. With a style, drive and presence all his own, long time friend Sean Dowling was added to complete the roster. His addition further expanded the melting pot of influences that would become The Silver Medal... At this point, we've been blessed with so many amazing people who support us and appreciate our music; one of those people is The Critic. He's now our second guitarist with a great background in underground music; playing with 245, The Nutrinos, The Kezners (briefly), Lomax, and How I Became A Pirate. With Critic in the band, we are proud to say that we feel close to reaching our goal of becoming a band people can call unique and brutally beautiful. Listen. Feel. React. Repeat.
