   About The Silver Wizard Project

The Silver Wizard recruited this mob of minstrels and vagabonds at the tail end of 2006. One year, and countless real ales later and the merry crew are adding the finishing touches to their demo and have performed in pubs and clubs around London, with a view to playing further afield in Hitchin and greater Avalon. Their songs have also been played on TSM Radio and Wired Radio.

Key to the band's sound are boy and girl vocal harmonies, haunting and downright weird violin and theremins, and a tight, danceable rhythm section.

The Silver Wizard Project’s music is complimented by their fantastical artwork, surreal short stories and unique live show (including strange costumes, narrations and all kinds of unearthly sounds).

The merry people of Shot By Both Sides described them as:
Armed with a fantastically opulent name and a natty line in stage attire, The Silver Wizard Project are the most admirably unfashionable group in existence. Their girl/boy vocals and ’fairytale rock’ sound has roots in the prog-folk of early Hawkwind, short stories and narrations are a regular feature of their set, and they have a theremin. Frankly, otherworldly.

The Silver Wizard Project can also be found on Last.fm and Facebook
