The Simmons Brothers, began singing together at the age of five and started their own band at the age of twelve. After performing in bands for eight years, the WV natives both joined the army at the age of twenty. Uncle Sam separated the two brothers which opened up opportunities for them to perform as a single artist. Having grown individually, and musically they decided after their service to form the Duo THE SIMMONS BROTHERS. Since they have toured over thirty states and played in over one hundred and fifty venues opening for such acts as Toby Keith, Shenandoah, The Bellamy Brothers and Jessica Andrews just to name a few . In between touring they managed the time to record three CD’s which they sold at there shows earning them some of the loyalist fans in the country, from California, to Miami, and NY to Texas. The sound is a great new kind of mixture between heartfelt country, and turn it up rock n roll. Growing up they had many different influences from George Straight, Conway Twitty, to ACDC, and Boston. On their self titled album “THE SIMMONS BROTHERS” you have no problem hearing these influences bleeding through in their music.
They are proud to release their new single “PARTY LIKE A ROCKSTAR”. The song was written by the two twins along with Randy Kemp, and Chad Lee, and co produced with Ric Web for the album.
We hope we can bring this show to your town, but be prepared for moments that make you think you are at a kiss concert and others when you just want to hold up a lighter.
