Bruce and Glenda Holcombe started their singing ministry over 25 years ago. The Lord called Bruce and Glenda into the ministry and gave them both the talent to sing so that they could deliver the word of the Gospel through song. Over the years, they have had many different group members minister with them, but they feel that God made a way for them to have the opportunity to minister with their two sons. So today, "The Holcombes" are Bruce, Glenda, Brent (23) and Matt (16). Aside from singing with The Holcombes, Brent is also an ordained minister and preaches revivals, etc. On July 30, 2006 the Holcombes' welcomed a new addition to the family. Her name is Kayla Deann (15 months) The Holcombes make their Home in Faulkville, GA.
The Holcombes have traveled all over different states such as GA, AL, TN, SC, NC, FL, KY, OH, WV, VA AND PA. They have seen many get saved and healed through their ministry and they know God has called them into this ministry for a purpose. The Lord has blessed each one of them to write songs and they have recorded many of them. Bruce wrote the songs "Heart to Heart" and "Jesus Made A Way For Me". Both songs were singles and aired on the radio. Many groups have recorded them. The Holcombes signed with Lamp Music in Whitesburg, GA in June 2005. Their CD "Making Memories" was recorded in 2004 and their latest CD "The Windows Of My Soul" was completed in October 2006. All the songs were wrote by Bruce and Glenda by the annointing Holy Ghost. They feel this is a special project that will bless all that hear it. They are currently working on a new CD and DVD.
The Holcombes have sang with many professional groups such as The Spencers, The Primitives, Heavenbound, The Nelons, Naomi and The Segos, Ronnie Hinson, The Singing Echos, The McGlothians, The Greens and many more.
The Holcombes thank God for all the friends they have made along the way and their family that support them. They couldn't have made it without their help and prayers! God has been good to The Holcombes and they have a lot to be thankful for. Their greatest desire within their ministry is that others may be encouraged, healed, and that they help the lost find their way to Jesus Christ.
