If Robert Smith and Gary Numan were to some how have a love child, genetically engineered by Bob Marley, raise that child in a dull suburb of a rainy English city, over exposed to plastic pop culture, post teenage rebellion on the brink of maturity, if that child were to start a band, it would probably sound something like this.
