Natalie L. Burge:
Born: October 31, 1984 Sign: Scorpio
Natalie Lindsey Burge was born on October 31, 1984 in San Antonio, Texas. On Christmas Day, at the age of seven, she was given her first instrument. ..I remember opening the gift and finding a miniature black keyboard. It really was quite intriguing to me, at the time, because it had so many different sounds and tempos that I could experiment with. I'd listen to the melodies that it played and then teach myself to play the tunes manually on the keys. I could pick my own tempo, key sounds and percussion beats to make whatever I wanted. Sunday morning church was, specifically, a big influence on me. After every service I would come home, choose an organ sound, and play all kinds of scales just so that I could play my very own church music! I must have driven my mother crazy, bless her heart. Later on, and as I got a little older, I finally did what many singers did and joined both church and school choir, which would later extend through to my senior year at MacArthur, but I know that that keyboard was the beginning to expressing myself through music... Although she never perceived it true, it was actually the influence of her parent's genre that would later shape her formation of both lyrics and chord structures. ..I remember at one point I hated my parents taste in music and then one day I began to actually listen to it, and completely took a turnaround. In comparison to the modern pop in my age group I learned quickly that nothing held a candle to good ol' rock n' roll!.. It would only be a few years later before she would receive her first guitar and begin her passion for song writing, which would, ultimately, lead to a new and lasting friendship with business partner Ashley Frank, where the two could then collaborate their efforts
Ashley L. Frank:
Born: March 3, 1984 Sign: Pisces
..I don't ever remember a time when I didn't sing!.. she states as she picks up her guitar. ..My parents would tell me stories of how I would just stand in my crib and sing to myself at the top of my lungs when I would get bored, and we have the home movies to prove it...
Ashley Louise Frank was born March 3, 1984, in San Antonio, Texas, where she currently lives. Her parents, Sharon and Richard, always encouraged her musical goals and ..if it weren't for them,.. she says, ..I wouldn't have all these great bands and songwriters to inspire me at such an early age, to become a musician. After all, they took me to my first concert when I was in diapers!..
She began her search for music at age 8 when she joined the school choir, and at age 9 she joined orchestra where she learned to play the viola. At 15, she got her first drum set, which she says ..was absolutely the best Christmas present I've ever gotten. Unfortunately, I'm afraid to say that it's currently gathering dust in the garage... It wasn't until age 19 that she taught herself guitar chords to help her in her songwriting. However, she will always be known to those at First Friday as the ..blonde tambourine girl... ..A moniker I'm proud to embrace,.. she laughs.
She is currently going to school at San Antonio College where she is studying Music, Art, and English. ..I would love to get a degree right away, but I'm not too keen on having to take classes that have absolutely nothing to do with what I want to do...
Goals: ..My biggest goals is to get out there and make my career doing what I love most..music. I want to be able to bring back a lot of the classic rock sound from the 60's and 70's and blend it with the music of today for a modern edge. Another goal I have is to be able to work with as many different artists as possible and expand my style of writing, as well as helping out aspiring musicians. And the main thing is to just have fun...
..Music is my religion. It can be a very spiritual thing, and when I'm feeling down that's how I approach the situation. I'll put on the Who, or Pink Floyd, or whatever I'm in the mood for at the time, and I'll automatically start to feel better. It's like a soul-cleansing treatment. I'll even put on some Bing Crosby or the Andrews Sisters if I'm in that frame of mind.
It has also been a learning process. I remember listening to songs over and over again in the headphones, and picking out the different parts and figuring out the arrangements, studying the styles and structures. It's fun to find something like the bass line and follow JUST that bass line to the end of the song; or I'll do that with harmonies, like with Crosby, Stills & Nash, the Hollies, Chicago, or Seals and Croft...
Influences
The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Queen, Heart, Billy Joel, Sheryl Crow, Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney and Wings, ABBA, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, The Moody Blues, Elton John, Tal Bachman, The Hollies, Harry Nilsson, Mary Hopkins, The Zombies, David Bowie, the Electric Light Orchestra, The Eagles, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Bob Dylan, The Pretenders, The Go-Go's, Lynard Skynard, The Steve Miller Band, The Rolling Stones, The Monkees, Linda Ronstadt, Aerosmith, ACDC, The Doors, and Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band.
The Sirens:
Ashley and Natalie met in the fall of 1999 during Ashley's sophomore year, and Natalie's freshman year of high school. It wasn't until 2000 that they knew they shared the same interests in music. They started singing together at a small function held at their school once a month, Coffee House, that later extended, not only through the science department's teachers' lounge, but to opening for the Power Team and soon after, First Friday's at the B&D Ice House in downtown San Antonio. With the help of producer Bob Parisi, they are currently recording a set of their original compilations, some of which are of a collaborative effort.

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks
