When her school announces a talent show, Mariposa understands that this could be her last chance to impress Ezekial. She decides to form a hip-hop crew enter the world of the Sista Hood MC Patria, Soul Siren, Pinay-1 and DJ Esa, all divas in their own way. While coming together isnt easy, theyre forced to collaborate and the course of their lives is changed forever.

ELISHA MIRANDA is a Puerto Rican that was born and raised in the "Mission" district of San Francisco, California and has been residing in New York City since 1998. She graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a dual BA in Ethnic Studies and English. Prior to heading to NYC she had been an activist and educator around numerous issues effecting youth and the community. She received her MFA in film (directing and screenwriting) from Columbia University. At Columbia, her awarding winning short films€” CORPORATE DAWGZ and BLIND DATE screened and garnered awards both nationally and internationally. Currently, she is in development with her feature film OUTSIDE THE WALL and a television pilot she is co-writing for the "N". She is also working on her next novel which will be called LOVELINES. Today she claims the titles of Filmmaker, Writer and Activist and claims all three as her sacred trinity.
