The sitcom moms is the best opening band in the world. No lie, no joke. Just fact.We sing, we dance, we gargle happy birthday and O Canada, we do mash-ups and a capella. We get everyone to gather around wondering what the fuck so that by time your legit band gets up to playthe audience is intrigued and ready for real music.

The sitcom moms are a splinter paramilitary group which is two parts of the de-funcd chick band Little Match Girl. (not to be confused with Matchstick Girls the fake name everyone calls us.) No, there was no dramatic fight that ended LMGthough youd think itd be a recipe for disaster having a band of 4 girls grouped together to bemoan their teen angst and lack of boyfriends. However, the band was quite happyand was disbanded due to our Lead guitarist Evelyn Kuang going off to college in Canada.

Beth and I (Eve) started the sitcom moms as a joke (more or less) and to have a place to put our simplistic 4 chord look at us were blink 182 with boobs! songs, as well as mash-ups, covers, and long bantering bits that involve me screaming butt-sex and vagina. Which had no place amidst our LMG line up of sad-bastard musicplus Evelyn (who secretly wanted to be a metal guitarist) would never let us play such poorly written material.

But, soon enoughEvelyn was in Canada and Beth had a show for us to play! The sitcom moms were a success! (aside from the fact Beth had next to no voice and was gargling between all the songs) What, I mean who could resist a song where Cock! is yelled loud and clear?

Now that we have a drummerthe sitcom moms intend to appear in more places than just in between people at Molluskfest and rape awareness shows.
