Roll out the crushed velvet -- the stage is set. The crowd is primed for the main attraction through the smoke and sweat. . The SiXXiS unravel one Sweetly-Sinister evening in question... June 6th, 2006. Where were you? A black licorice and razorblade approach to PowerROCK for a bombastic tongue-in-cheek generation. The SiXXiS reclaim the rock show of yore. Enjoy every damn riff and refrain and nevermind the snake charmers.
The diversity of musical influences, including classical music literature, funk groves, pop melodies and stacked vocal harmonies, catchy guitar riffs and progressions, as well as moments of metal bliss with a more Eastern European flare, allowed the band, when performing live, to play to a wider audience, capturing fans with fantastic electric shows as well as equally impressive acoustic performances.
Since the bands inception in 2006 in Columbus, Georgia, The SiXXiS wooed The Loft Live audiences in well-received sets with multiple lush encores. Now relocated to Atlanta, the band continued to evolve its lineup of musicians and take shape into the existing members: Vladislav (aka. Vladdy) Iskhakov (lead vocals, guitar, synth, piano, and violin), Benjamin Lloyd (acoustic guitar, percussion, vocals), Zack Gamble (lead guitar) Mark Golden (bass), and Richie Torrance (drums, percussion).
Already drawing comparisons to such bands as System of a Down and Led Zeppelin, The SiXXiS have also been known to be touching on Muse, Queen, Jellyfish, Pink Floyd, Rush, Transiberian Orchestra, and The Grinch Stole Christmas theme in order to convey their musical message to their listeners.
So, in closing, “Turn on the lights, and let the glamour fill your soul. Sit back and watch as the show starts to unfold. Be mesmerized by all things that you will see! Just close your eyes... make a wish and count to three…”
