The Skabadivers take farewell!
After ten beautiful years the Skabadivers call it a quit. The last concert will take place at Mezz, Breda on the the 14th of October. In this last show they want to show their gratitude and say goodbye to their beloved fans. We hope to see you there and let's make it a show we'll never gonna forget!

The Skabadivers hebben na tien waanzinnige jaren besloten te stoppen. Met een afscheidsconcert willen The Skabadivers hun dankbaarheid tonen en afscheid nemen van de trouwe fans. Het laatste optreden vindt plaats op zondag 14 oktober in Mezz Breda.

The Skabadivers staan bekend om hun eigentijdse kwaliteitsska. Het motto "do what you love, love what you do!" heeft zich vertaald in een enorm spelplezier en overtuigende show. De historie van The Skabadivers is rijk: ruim 200 optredens, waaronder een tour in Frankrijk, Paaspop Schijndel en het Dutchska-festival in Melkweg, live bij Giel Beelen en recensies in o.a. LiveXS, Fret en Musicfrom.

Nog één keer zal frontvrouw Caroline Admiraal voluit gaan, samen met de groovende ritmesectie, de soms vuige sologitaar en de swingende driekoppige blazerssectie. Deze dance craze zal plaatsvinden zondag 14 oktober in Mezz Breda. Voor meer informatie kijk op www.mezz.nl

Biographie of The Skabadivers
The Skabadivers were founded in 1998 on the initiative of lead singer Caroline Admiraal. She wanted to play her own type of ska music and therefore she started her own band. Nowadays The Skabadivers have grown out to be an even band with a firm wind section. The different musical influences and preferences of the band members, in combination with the love for contemporary ska with an even off-beat rhythm, produces a very successful band. This kind of music and the off-beat way of playing it, fits the freedom, energy and one of a kind mentality that The Skabadivers aim for. Lead in stead of follow; live your life, enjoy the ride!
This character is also visible when The Skabadivers perform on stage. Caroline is a tough singer who produces so much energy with her band that they can make a crowd go wild. They only play their own songs, mostly written by Caroline. All their songs consist of the happy style and fun factor that fits The Skabadivers the best.
Ever since their foundation, the band has performed numbers of times. In the year 2004 The Skabadivers have played on many festivals across Holland, were they members of a travelling festival through Holland and have they played on several well known places. Besides these gigs the band is enthusiastically working on their next album.
