The Skamatix blend ska and rocksteady from the 50's and 60's with jazz. The result is a mellow, sexy blend of skankin' rhythms and luscious harmonies. The Skamatix's music conjures everything from Mexican street festivals to old-fashioned cabaret (so say our fans - we have some pretty awesome fans!) The band pays homage to its roots by playing tunes by John Coltrane and Bob Marley, as well as irresistible originals by guitarrist David DiMario and keyboardist/baritonist Nate Trier.
