MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC! Also, people who don't suck, friends, parties, socializing in general. I guess now the beach counts too, cause you kinda have to spend a lot of time at the beach in SoCal. I also really enjoy writing, reading (though I don't nearly enough), and finding new and exciting interests.
Music
This is the section I was waiting for. Damn, I could go on forever. To me music is the greatest artform. It transcends space, time, and culture. It is something that can be appreciated by all people (and even animals). I've even known deaf people who go to clubs just to experience the vibrations they can't hear. I've seen shows of every kind - from Sigur Ros, to B.B. King, to Paul Oakenfold, to Jurassic 5, to anything else you can think of. I am constantly searching for new and fresh sounds that I have never before contemplated, whether they be brand new futuristic bands or classical symphonies I've yet to uncover. I am also a DJ who specializes in progressive house and breaks, though I try to incorporate all different genres within those.
Bottom line is, I live for music. If you like music, then you are my friend.
Movies
I don't watch too many movies. Some classics though: The Big Lebowski, Falling Down, 12 Monkeys, Blade Runner, Star Wars (the original 3), Once Upon a Time in the West... I'll think of more later.
Television
TV IS DRUGS... and not the good kind. There are very few shows that I can stand, and most of them are on Comedy Central. The Daily Show, South Park, Reno 911, FAMILY GUY, Simpsons (old school), and some sports. I try to watch as little tv as possible, though. Life is too short to waste on a glowing box.
Books
Damnit I wish I read books like I used to.
Heroes
A hero implies someone you look to model a certain part of yourself after. I do not try to emulate anyone specifically, but rather try to find and share the positivity in everyone.

About me: What up people? The first thing you should know about me is that I am completely obsessed with music. I listen to music during all possible waking hours, and dream about music when I cannot. I am a music journalist and a DJ and love it all. I go to as many shows/concerts/clubs/parties as I can both to experience the music and experience the people who love music like I do.
As if there was anything else to life, I graduated in May 2004 from the University of Virginia with a degree in Economics and History. That's not what I want to do with my life, but I'm glad I got the degree, and who knows, it might come in handy one of these days.
Who I'd like to meet: People who don't suck. HA. I'm not kidding though. I like fun, open-minded people who know how to have a good time and aren't quick to judge. Diversity is key - I like all kinds of people and like to expand my network whenever possible (with people that don't suck).
Hey I will be in San Diego in about a month for Laurie's bachelorette party. We would love to see you spin and hang out. Also want to get the buzz on the night scene so I can plan some fun stuff for her.

I will probably do a detailed email at a later date...but it's one of my favorite dj cds to listen to...so much so that I had to force it out of my cd case because I listened to it too much once I got it...if that helps any in terms of likeability.
