"The Skinny":Funk and Soul with a Jazz twist. The Skinny was accidentally formed in 2004 while rehearsing some tunes for one of Jake's gigs with (james brown's original funky drummer) Clyde Stubblefield. On any given night, you can hear The Skinny play originals and cover classics from Booker T and the MG's, The Meters, Grant Green, Kool and the Gang and many more. Keep your ears open for our debut cd that we're recording in late spring.
