Odeum (Aaron Gaffey on guitar and vocals, Keith O'Neill on bass and Richie Mason on drums) are a Dublin-based, three piece post-hardcore band. The band formed in the Ballyfermot Rock School in 2004, has gigged extensively around Dublin, Kilkenny, Wexford, Waterford and Cork, and in 2005 recorded the three song demo Heavier Than Heaven's Red Sun.
The band are currently taking a hiatus from live shows to record a new EP, Endosteum Periosteum, at a secret location in the wilds of Kilkenny. The drum tracks for 15 songs were recorded in Sandfire Studios in Wexford between April and June of this year, with guitar, bass and vocals recorded at DL AUDIO.
The band will be back on the live circuit, armed with the new EP and a slew of new material, before the end of the year.
