That's right!!! the greatest thing to invade Long Island cable access is now ready to re-invade your homes again in the form of a fully loaded DVD!

SLACKER TV hit the airwaves in 1997 and continued to spread their nonsense until the show ended in 2004. The show you loved as a kid is just as stupid now that you're a fully grown buxom lunch lady!!!

Remember that time pudding fell in different languages, or when you played a violent game of Chinese Football, or when you were smoking pot and an Axe Murderer hid in your backyard, or when the only thing you could say was "NOOOO", or when you locked yourself in a bathroom and the only way to get out was to flush yourself down the toilet???

Me neither, but thank God we video taped it all! On glorious VHS!!!

The Slacker TV DVD is over 90 minutes of our favorite classic sketches plus it's stacked with tons of special features (including a half hour Retrospective Episode), behind the scenes footage, cast commentary, and hidden extras!!! SLACKER TV: THE DVD is a fans dream come true!!! All five of you!!!

They started in 1997 with lots of ideas and little money - and they're ending in 2004 pretty much the same way. But in between, the homespun television comedy troupe known as The Slack Pack proved that creativity can flourish, even in the "decadent suburban boredom" (their words) of Long Island.

Consciously or not, the show recalls the great British TV comedies "The Young Ones" and "The Goodies," in which the most basic rules of television - character, continuity, believability - were gleefully broken. In one episode of "The Slack Pack," the stars died in a Scorsese-style montage accompanied by Eric Clapton's "Layla." In another, they became vampires who drained most of their neighbors.
