    Founded in 1993 by the enigmatic Harry Slash, The Slashtones, in one form or another, have been one of NY's longest running "supergroups".....The Slashtones, a satirical comic-rock pop culture mash-up band, best known for their original musical work for the Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) television program, have at one point or another included band members from "Riot", "Raging Slab", "The John Entwistle Band", "Murphy's Law", "The Rattlers", "The Uptown Horns", "Robert Plant & The Honeydrippers", "Zebra", "Brad Factor:10", "Deep Purple".
