The Sleeves rock band formed in the fantastic year 2000 when Dave Sleeve was found dehydrated and starving at the bottom of the Bad Water Basin in Death Valley, California, by his long-lost brother Greg Sleeve. He had searched the globe near and there to find Dave after they were separately kidnapped during a family trip to The Mystery Spot near St. Ignace, Michigan in 1979. Mr. and Mrs. Sleeve just chalked up their children's disappearance as a mystery since they were at The 'Mystery Spot.' Greg's wicked kidnappers tortured him by completely cutting him off from the world of music and any media. After twenty years of punishment, Greg escaped not only with his life intact, but also in his head were nine thousand songs he had composed throughout the years, all resembling the sounds of late '70's new wave. Dave's abducters were little known progressive punk band The Muldoons, who tried to brainwash young David into thinking he was a Muldoon too. But Dave knew that there was more to punk than an overbearing bass drum and disjointed lyrics with great imagery. So, one wintry night Dave escaped to Canada via a stolen canoe that belonged to a real Indian! But The Muldoons never give up, so they trailed him for six enormous years. Finally, Dave realized that his Winter Wonderland native pursuers may not like it when it's really hot outside. So he cleverly lead them to the hottest place on the continent, Death Valley, California, where The Muldoons' sorry bones still dry in the sun. Luckily Dave ousted death with the arrival of his brother, who then took him to the border town of Calexico to recover, sip margaritas, gaze at Mexican mamas, and talk about their life-long dream of Rockin' and Rolling. With Greg's nine thousand songs and Dave's forced punk band experience, all they needed was a drummer. And so the story begins.....
