Sounds Like
someone being pushed down the stairs in the middle of the night hugging a glockenspiel.
The Sleuths were born in the middle of England. To be precise, the “City” of Wolverhampton, not far from where we started off by supporting one of our favourite bands of all time, the mighty Quasi at the nearby the Birmingham Barfly.
Since then we have played many places around this fine land, and with other favourites of ours, including Simple Kid, Absentee, Switches and The Procession.
We'd like to spend our days riding around in a black taxi chomping on nibbles, supping some media friendly carbonated drink being driven by George Orwell to somewhere nice, joined by all our favouritist people. But as you can see from the left it would be a full automobile if everyone joined us, especially only a five seater...Maybe a bus? We don't know.
Please feel free to spend as much time here, we are currently in our bedroom trying to record some more for you. But until next time we see you out, take care and most importantly, of each other...BIF!

How the Devil are my investigating pals? Come down to the Varsity on Sunday to see me and Audrey Ryan! Or, to Colour on Wednesday to see me and the decidedly less attractive Ben Calvert! The world misses you! I like exclamation marks! Ding ding!!
just a reminder that his wednesday is our 1st birthday party. Really hope you can make it, and maybe play a few songs too? We're asking as many of our past guest DJs to come along and contribute. there will be cake by the bucket load!
Dan Hartland, one third of the Donkey Seven collective, will be hosting a hoedown at the Varsity on Sunday evening. There he will play lovelorn ballads of cowboy loss. Also other things. He would adore to see you there, gentle lovelies.
How was the gig Saturday? We all went to Womad & got rather muddy, then wet, then sunburnt, then wet, then muddy again. Brilliant! We should have drinks some time soon...
