Lovers of Great music everywhere.
I am neither artist, composer, nor DJ -
Merely an avid fan and lover of great sounds from around the world;
a courier delivering to you the message within the bottle,
familiar and unfamiliar.
Lounge
Chill
Bossa Nova
Progressive
Rare Grooves
Down-Tempo
Jazz (General, Nu, Latin, Brazilian, Classical, Fusion)
Soul (Classic, R&B, Alternative, Nu)
Electronica
House (Deep, Classic, Progressive)
Samba
Baile Funk (pq sou Funkeiro, rsrsrsrsrs)
This page was put together with the intent of bridging the gaps between music enthusiasts and geared towards introducing us to new and/or unfamiliar sounds, artists, methods of interpretation.
We've been fortunate enough to begin linking widespread lovers of great sounds and backdrops, making them aware that there is so much more great music out there than what we generally hear on commercial radio.
Commercial radio has been our main source of what good music is or rather what good music is not. Here, we hope to broaden your range with that which is seldom heard.
Over the past few years, I have had the pleasure of sharing some of my favorite pieces of Smooth Groovez with a group of friends of mine. These pieces, representing the different tastes and vibes of what we call music, ranges in styles from Neo-Soul, Euro-Soul, Deep House, Acid Jazz, Cuban Jazz, Brazilian Jazz, Down-Tempo, Lounge, Electronica, and Rare Grooves, have all helped to form the backdrop of this collection which has been forwarded by those friends and others to others and then some.
That widespread line had been dubbed "The Network" with its pipeline stretching from the Continental United States, into Germany, Japan, Brazil, Amsterdam, Canada, Hawaii, Switzerland, and England but after discovering and joining Myspace, I have been able to spread my musical addiction worldwide.
I am glad to have been able to introduce those friends to some rare grooves that we otherwise don't hear about and I thank those who have introduced me to some titles that I was not aware of. Word of mouth has been the key to a lot of these projects, one recommending or playing a selection for another. And although there is plenty more great and unheard music out there, I will continue to do my part in passing onto you the titles that stand out.
However, as with any art, there will be differences, be it those differences are in the visual, the audio, the aspect by which it was created, and/or the manner in which it is presented and/or interpreted.

About The Smooth Groovez Presents... A Blend of Nudity
Posted : 14 December 2009
Featured Mix : A Blend of Nudity : Naked Music
Albums : Various
Release Dates : Various
Label : Naked Music
It has been some time since I refreshed the page with something new. My apologies for the delay. I had a special treat in mind but was unable to determine how it should be presented in a proper manner. I haven't given up on it though as it is still in the system to be delivered.
In the meantime I wanted to go into some Deep, Soulful House. I was going through my itunes the other day listening to one of my favourite labels' catalog when I realized I had a mix with some of the songs.
I can not take credit for the mix, and I will not. However, it is proper for this time of year as the weather has broken for the Winter season and we have thoughts of those intimate house parties or after work socials amongst friends who recognize and appreciate a great evening with friends accompanied by great music to enhance the ambiance.
Although I have done a previous feature on this label, I will not get into the background of how it came to be.

Everything went to plan here and no dinner disaster either lol. Santa brought me soooo many things. I'm a lucky AA. Our day is coming to a close now which means its relax time.
Its icy and snowy outside, i've had a hot bubbly bath. I'm toasty warm, and this mix is a collection of some of the best deep soulful house. ...I should know i have most of these tracks, which can only mean one thing. We both have excellent taste in tunes.
