The Smooth Talkers bring together some of Western New York’s best and most experienced musicians to perform classic rock of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Byrds, and much more. The band is led by veteran guitarist John Covach, who is also a member of Rochester’s 28if as well as the prog-rock recording band Land of Chocolate. John is Professor of Music at the University of Rochester and Eastman, and host of WRUR’s Radio Rock. Covach is joined by vocalist Mike Norton (Ghost Song, Mr. Right), bassist/vocalist Jim-Jimmy James (Breakfast Club, Beat Generation), guitarist/keyboardist Jason Titus (Band ‘N Public, Low Water), and drummer Pete Chinnock.
The Smooth Talkers take pride in their painstakingly accurate renditions of 60s classics, delivered in exciting and dynamic performances that exhilarate audiences. The band is perfect for clubs, private parties and corporate events. For more information, contact us through MySpace or via email at: SmoothTalkers@msn.com.
