The founding members of The Smyrna Band, Ron Thompson and Tim Bode have been playing together since the mid-70s. The current line-up includes Dallas Gennerich, who has been involved with the band for over ten years. The Smyrna Band plays a variety of styles including Blues, Pop, Folk Rock, Gospel and Country. The 3-part harmonies they are known for is keystone to their sound. The band consists of two acoustic guitars and electric bass. They are available for all types of situations from concerts to picnics and festivals to coffee houses. The Smyrna Band appeals to audiences of every age group from children to seniors. The Smyrna Band Travels with a complete sound system that will cover up to 1000 people.
