The Snacks, in the guise of ringleaders Pete and Maura Kennedy, have
been entertaining kids for over ten years. Pete is the
composer of the hit song, "Air Guitar", made famous by Cathy Fink and
Marcie Marxer, and the Kennedys regularly host riotous air guitar
sessions. Maura's rocking guitar and fun-spirited
vocals, and of course her colorful garb, have inspired a legion of
"guitar toting chicks". All of their songs involve the audience as
singers, dancers, and sometimes spontaneous songwriters, and the show
always ends with a runaway conga line snaking around the venue. It's
rock'n'roll mayhem at it's finest, and this year, other members of
The Strangelings may be joining in on the action!
Features three brand-new studio tracks from Spaghetti Cake recorded in August 2007, plus the classic but never-before released hit "Farm Boy".
"What About Pluto" is an instant Spaghetti Cake classic. Inspired by the recent 'reclassification' of our beloved ninth planet Pluto, this song reflects on the tiny orb's signifigance in all of our lives; past, present, and future. A live concert favorite for Spaghetti Cake, mixed by the great Earl Cohen.
"Who's Your Best Friend" is a 'tween girl fist-pumping skirt-twirling pop anthem about the magical power of true friendship. Inspired by Glen's own music students at school, this catchy hook will have you dancing in your living rooms and singing along with every word. Mixed by Earl Cohen.
"Miles and Miles of Smiles" - This new bonus track rounds out the "Pluto" EP. Commissioned to be included on a national dental health compilation CD, Sue returns to take you on an unforgettable flight of fancy through sun-drenched sandy beaches on a bicycle to surfing a thunderous stormy sea on your bed!
