Before you panic and go hide your stash! Take it easy, The Sniffer Dogs ain't gonna bust your arse. They're gunna move it. So now we got things straight! You might wanna know a little bit about the band. They're a reggae, dub and soul outfit from Bondi Beach. They got together (2004) as 3 friends, from three different parts of the world, coming together on the beaches in Australia. John Sox (drums), is the local, Irishman Notch is the bass player and Englishman James plays guitar, melodica and sings. .. .. A few of years down the line and the boys are in their element and just lovin' it!! After playing in Sydney's top venues such as The Metro and many capacity shows at The Basement for soo many years, 2 interstate tours and much national radio play (Tripple j), The Sniffer Dogs have been focusing on compounding their growing reputation as a 'must see' band on Australia's festival scene! .. .. Since nov 2010 the 'Doggie's' have seemingly gone underground, only appering here and there for choice shows, but it hasn't been in vane! They have been busy behind the scenes writing and recording new material ready to erupt all over the scene next summer!! .. .. Live, The Sniffer Dogs are captivating and up beat, they haven't forgotten why they started..... to have fun, and u'll feel it too!!
