The So Called Scumbags Consist of James Edwards & David Minns. Forming in 2008 the duo immediately began causing havoc at London’s top venues with bookings flying in from all over London's club scene. This saw them play their unique DJ sets at Union in Fabric, Gallery at The Ministry Of Sound, The SE1, White House in Clapham, Corsica Studios & Egg.
Taking their floor rocking sound to Ibiza in 2009 and Sweden in 2010 they raised the temperature at Ibizan Heat, Judgement Sundays, Ibiza Rocks Manumission Party, Grin Recordings and The Audio Damage Boat Party. This year they returned to Ibiza where once again they created an unforgettable atmosphere for the sunset sets at Bora Bora Beach and the Ibizan Heat Boat Party.

The Explosion of 2010 has seen their profile grow tenfold with an eagerly awaited release on Misspelt Records with the remix of Vegas Baby - I Cant Help Myself and the hot new single on Big In Ibiza “The Morning Session” which has already been championed by Space resident and King of the Terrace, Jonathan Ulysses on his new Ibiza Opening Party 2010 compilation.
James Edwards – Influenced by a few early trips to Ibiza watching the likes of Erick Morillo and Roger Sanchez James found a love for house music and developed an energetic, technical style that shows through every time he hits the decks. By the tender age of 21 he had already spun at London’s Elite clubs (Pacha, Egg, The Cross, Canvas, The White House…). His productions have been released on London based label Comfortably Numbed and Swedish label PR Records. This young talent shows no sign of stopping so keep your eyes peeled for him playing at a club near you.
David Minns – Freelance sound engineer, club promoter and DJ of 20 years. David grew up in East Anglia and moved to London in 1993. In 1994 David started working for Matrix Recording Studios and quickly progressed to Sarm West (The Feed The World Studio) owned by worldwide renowned producer Trevor Horn. In that time he worked alongside live recording sessions from Blur, Feeder, Meat Beat Manifesto, George Michael, BT, Tina Turner and Sly and Robbie to name a few.. David now runs some of the hottest club nights in town recently booking Basement Jaxx, The Freemasons and Faithless 'Maxi Jazz' for The White House’s 10th Birthday celebrations.
As an established sound engineer David has recorded vocals for The Rogue Element, provided remixes for Vegas Baby and Amber D, set up sound and worked back stage with the EGG band and also works for Bestival FM each year recording interviews, managing a team and co-presenting 'The Best Of Bestival' shows. Some of David's highlights include playing & presenting a show on Worthy FM with Tom Real at Glastonbury and also being interviewed and mixing alongside Chad Jackson on Jay Cunning's Kiss FM show. In 2008 David was asked to provide a 30 minute mix of breaks for a once in a lifetime chance, where he was able to reach an audience of millions with a set on Annie Nightingale’s BBC Radio One show!
