THE SOFT PARADE was formed in 1990 as THE FIRST AUTHENTIC DOORS Show.
Since then, they have toured worldwide in over 20 countries and have achieved
the reputation as one of the most impressive tribute shows ever.
Since forming, the New York City-based quartet has toured throughout the United States and 20 countries to become the first and foremost act to pay homage to The Doors and to garner rave reviews across the board.
Although, THE SOFT PARADE stays true to the musically audacious spirit of the original, delivering the legendary rock band’s blistering arrangements and monstrous sound note-for-note at what often are sold-out frenzied shows around the world, the four men that make for the four essentially diverse elements of the band bring their own unique energy and passion to the music. Indeed, this may be the thing that serves most to set them apart.
Live, the group takes its lead from what The Doors did in performance, seeking to create an intense experience from the in-the-moment interaction between all the players to both recount and reinvent the musical moment for the audience.
If you missed the Doors...don't miss THE SOFT PARADE!

".....THE SOFT PARADE is a must see for any Doors fan! I would first like to thank the band for carrying on the legend of The Doors and coming to The Wharf. Second I want to thank the guys at the Wharf who booked the band to play there, THANK YOU SO MUCH. Well I hope to see The Soft Parade again sometime, preferably at The Wharf again."

"...I must say I was totally impressed with the performance I saw. The singer was Jim Morrison incarnate. It's almost eerie—the first time you see Joe Russo walk out on stage, the resemblance is that striking. And when he opens his mouth and starts to sing, you will be transported...."

Caught your show at Red Lion last night! It was phenomenal (so crowded)! You are BY FAR far the BEST Doors Tribute band - mesmerized by Joe's voice and the band's perfect capture of The Doors' music!
