The Solace Bros. turned six years olds in November. Like most fortunate six year-olds, they can now walk and talk and even surf the (inter)net! Damned I’ll be if they’ve actually tour the US and France and now have their sights sets on the lovely nations south of Tucson, USA. This is loud and clear testimony to their undying passion and quest for authentic Mexican food.
While not inclined to brag about touring with famous bands, appearing Travel Channel, or winning numerous fine mentions in print and gossip journals, here, beyond, and elsewhere, they are otherwise proud to brand fine rock music as well as other semi-edibles for joy and consumption.
Their younger brother Dick Bongo, shares music passion and hereby hath delivered upon production of CD Bad Will, public release 3, drop date 9/22/07. Please, and thank you for your constructive criticism and ongoing verbal and financial support.

SOLACE BROTHERS Bad Will (California Beach Club) (NODEPRESSION.NET) -- Built To Spill introduced the world to this band on a recent tour. It's a good fit, but the Solace Brothers range further, and may actually have more chops. The Brothers convey edgy punk emotionalism without dropping a note, even in complex melodies and harmonies. Arrangements are tasty and unpredictable, incorporating ingenious, brassy fuzz-guitar flourishes, guttural and occasionally surprising bass lines, and arrangements tricked out with a modulation here and a tempo twist there. Highlights include "Frankie And Johnny", nine verses backed by a rumble that builds to a scream of furious tension, and the sixteen-minute trip "It Might Be Real": spectrum-wide variations on a theme with star turns by Calexico's Joey Burns and Volker Zander ..o and upright bass, respectively.
