The Solvents are an international (France-UK, Russia, Germany, Brazil-Italy) Performance Collective emerging from Dartington College of Arts- UK, where it was formed in 2003.
By infusing our active ‘Solvent’ imaginations with traditional and contemporary devising methods, we create diverse facets of physical performance, which aim to expose the full horror and beauty of human experience.
The Solvents Performance Collective want to penetrate, saturate, initiate, dominate as well as caress, distress, oppress, seduce, disgust, tentalize and traumatize their audiences.
The Solvents Performance Collective believe perplexities can be solved by dissolving them.
