GPR – Global Pirate Radio – is a free to air Metal/Rock internet radio station. We specialize in rare tunes that you don’t hear on FM radio. You will hear the famous and the not so famous. Wednesdays nights we do a Myspace Night, in which we feature bands from our Myspace friends list who have submitted songs to us for airplay. The station is on air 24 hours a day with frequent live shows hosted by our dedicated on air streamers. I remember people back when I still had the shirt would walk all of the way around me to read the back,
I was just listening to the song on Cassette (remember those things? I had a 8track cassette when I was a kid)
and the last verse in the song says:

Bon Scott knew that musicians and entertainers get ripped off back when he was alive and I think more musicians/entertainers should speak the TRUTH about how all musicians and entertainers are underpaid and work under 19th century labor law in the United States.
We do not even have min. wage protects which would SEAL the bottomless pit to ZERO Wages or Pay To Play in the night club industry.
I don't work for free and have not in a very long time, but from the smallest nobody band to the the Touring National acts in the club are wages and wrking condidtion are all tied together.
The night club charge local bands Pay To Play fee's so the can have no out of pocket expense when they book big bands in the clubs Like Great White or Quite Riot type bands.
Why should Unsigned-local-indy bands pay to work so a club owner can book and pay a big name national?
Every time you see a big band in a club who owner-booking agent makes the local bands Pay To Play, know that it was off the backs and the Sonic Laborer of the local bands that paid for the big bands.
