Billetproof, Coffee, Cigarettes, Varla Magazine, CKD magazine, Big Red Ed (R.I.P) and Budweiser (OK Whiskey too) are some of our non musical influences.....and most importantly OUR FRIENDS, FAMILY and THE BANDS we play with all the time!
The Sore Thumbs are three guys from The SF/ Oakland Bay Area who decided to put together a band in early 2001 focusing on a stripped down traditional punk style.....you can call it Classic Punk, Steet Punk or just plain ol Rock 'n Roll it doesnt really matter The Sore Thumbs play it with a passion and intensity that makes everybody move.
The last few years have been spent playing all over CA, from the Bay Area to Chico, Sacto to LA. This included a two week tour around the West Coast and playing at Warped tour in SF.
They have played with many great band like: Supersuckers, D.I., The Forgotten, U.S. Bombs, The Vibrators, No Use For A Name, Agent Orange, the Dead Kennedys, Marky Ramone, Throw Rag, Mad Sin, Angry Samoans, Smut Peddlers, The Bodies, The Stitches, Subincision, Hanover Saints, The Angry Amputees, Riverboat Gamblers, Whiskey Rebels, Code 4-15, Hit By A Semi and all the other bands that we are happy to call friends.
With one self released full-length, a Split 7 with Friend Hit By A Semi and several appearances on Comps from around the world under their belts, the boys released a new Full length on Radio Records Valentines Day 2006!! a 45 on NoMa Beach records is almost complete + Pirate Press Records has us on the amazing 7" boxset they just released along with their 12" Picture disc they have on deck...go check out these labels, they offer some great music!

The Sore Thumbs lp is awesome and probably one of the most beautiful pieces of vinyl I've evere owned. I didn't fall for your trap. Making the black vinyl more limited than the colored vinyl. Give me the colored vinyl any day! Cheers to MCD Records on a great piece of vinyl!
