Recording:
The basic studio rate is £20 per hour. This includes a sound engineer and full access to all of our equipment and instruments if required. Combining classic outboard hardware with a variety of industry standard software, we can cater to any of your recording needs. Please email to discuss your own particular requirements.
Rehearsal:
Our large, well lit rehearsal spaces have canal-side views and come with P.A. and instrument/amp hire is available at a reasonable cost. The rooms are £25 per session (3 hours minimum) with each additional hour costing £7.50.
Tuition:
We offer very high quality pro music tuition in the following instruments: Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboard, Piano, Drums, Music Technology and Singing. All of our 7 CRB checked tutors are experienced, vibrant professionals with impressive musical C.V.s and are active working musicians. Tuition is £20 per 45 minute lesson.
Other Services and Facilities:
We are also able to offer group workshops, (for example in Brazilian Samba, Songwriting, Recording Skills), vinyl to CD/MP3 transfer, music composition - anything sound related, we can assist in! Please email with your needs and we shall meet them!
Also onsite we have kitchen/bathroom facilites, and a lounge area with entertainment and free wi-fi internet access.

The Sound Loft Music Studio is a high quality recording, rehearsal and tuition studio run by industry professionals in Leigh, Lancashire. We provide rehearsal space and recording services for bands, singers, as well as catering to more unusual and particular projects.

Hello everyone!
Here at The Sound Loft, we are offering your band FREE rehearsal time! Your first session is FREE and the second session is only HALF PRICE! Plus also FREE equipment hire is available.
Each room is spacious, acoustically treated and with excellent PA. On site we have wireless internet access, clean lounge and bathroom facilities. Equipment hire is free and also we have storage facilities available. Located in the town centre and with good parking areas, you will not find a better room at a better price!
The usual rate is £25 per 4 hour session, as stated your first booking would be totally free. Also FREE RECORDING: For our existing band clientele, if you successfully refer another band or group to us for practice, we will give you two hours of free recording time in to record a track, produced by Jesus In India mastermind Dan Moores!
