The music you will find here are my personal projects and expirements.
As I love to collaborate in music and arts you will find some collaborative effords on this site so now and then.
In my daily life I am an artist.
As a musician I follow some different path’s in styles.
Dunun’gbara is a group in which I play the dundumba and with that group we are specialized in traditional Malinke music from West Africa.
I also play dundumba in Barafoli, another band specialized in malinke music mainly from Baro.
I also have a past in electronic music. I was a member of Par Example in the late eighties and early ninetees. We released two cd’s with Par Example:
Pharos and
But Everything...
A private project I am working on is African Dive.
It is about mixing modern guitar ,synth’s and other instruments with very traditional Malinke music. I use recordings we made with Dunun’gbara for this purpose.
The African Dive project is an ongoing effort.
I have put the people I collaborate with in the bandmemberlist.
Enjoy!

SECRET OF SUCCESS
"Takes pain," said the window. "Keep cool," said the ice. "Drive hard," said the hammer. "Be up to date," said the calendar. "Never be led," said the pencil. "Be sharp," said the knife. "Make light around you," said the fire. "Stick to it," said the glue. "Be bright," said the lamp.
